KNCB Umpires are those who have passed the KNCB Umpire examination and have correctly officiated in five Matches in the opinion of the KNCB Umpire Manager, as well as those who have been recognized as such by the Board, on the advice of the KNCB Umpire Manager, on the basis of their cricket knowledge and experience in officiating in Matches
Club Umpires are those who have taken the Club Umpire course, as well as those who have been recognised as such by the Board, on the advice of the KNCB Umpire Manager, on the basis of their cricket knowledge and experience in officiating in Matches.
A qualified Scorer is one who holds at least an ECB ACO Level 1 qualification.
A recognised Scorer is a Scorer who does not meet the requirement set out under Qualified Scorer, but who has been recognised as such by the Board by virtue of his cricket knowledge and experience in scoring at Matches.
KNCB Umpires and Match Referees are appointed by the KNCB to officiate in the highest levels of the competition leagues for men and women in The Netherlands.
For competition matches in the highest levels of the competition leagues it is mandatory for participating clubs to appoint a Qualified - or Recognized Scorer for their teams.
KNCB appoints both qualified umpires and scorers for (international) matches of national representative teams and regional representative teams.
The Match Officials Committee (MOC) is a representative committee that acts on behalf of the match officials community to handle day to day activities in conjunction with the KNCB.
Currently there are no active members for this committee and is it not active.
