To gain insight into the quality of the pitches (both grass and artificial turf pitches), the Facilities Committee receives pitch reports from umpires multiple times during the season. If a pitch is deemed unreliable, the committee contacts the relevant club immediately.
The Referees Committee (MOC) and the Facilities Committee collaborate in this regard. Umpire reports are accessible to the committee.
