Many volunteers are needed to fulfill the tasks of an association. To prevent a few volunteers from taking on all the work of the entire association, Niels van Weert of Sportservice Noord-Holland has developed the successful method: More Volunteers in Less Time.
After an introductory evening, Van Weert will personally guide you through 4 workshops (1 per month) to set up and execute a recruitment campaign tailored to your association. Success guaranteed! You can find more information at meerinkortetijd.nl
The Youth Committee handles the association's youth affairs and serves as the club's calling card to the parents of youth members, as well as to potential youth members and their parents in the surrounding area. The Youth Committee maintains contact with the KNCB regarding youth and national youth selection match schedules, training programs, youth coaches and their education, and courses. The Youth Committee is jointly responsible for a safe and trustworthy sporting environment within the association. The youth committee also helps ensure that the norms and values, as described in the code of conduct, are respected. One or two confidential contact persons may be appointed, but they do not need to be part of a youth committee or a board. The chairperson of the youth committee is preferably also a board member for youth affairs. See also the booklet Cricket op de Groei, available free of charge from the federation office.
