The club as an employer

Employers in Sports

You can find more information about the association as an employer (volunteer agreements, employment contracts, (expense) reimbursements) here: The Sports Association as an Employer NL

Employers in Sports (WOS) is an employers' association that represents the interests of its members in the broad field of labor relations.

RI&E-Regulations

Employers with employees are required to conduct a Risk Inventory & Evaluation (RI&E) to minimize the risk of work-related health complaints and accidents. A mandatory component of the RI&E is an Action Plan. This is stipulated in the Working Conditions Act (Arbowet).

Sports RI&E and Action Plan

The Sports RI&E also offers a handy checklist to verify whether sufficient attention has been paid to safety (for example, at tournaments or youth camps).

The Action Plan describes which measures will be taken to address and implement the identified risks, and who is responsible for them. After conducting the RI&E and drawing up the Action Plan, these must be submitted to the occupational health and safety service.

Permits and insurance

Insurance policies impose many requirements, including an up-to-date RI&E. If an up-to-date RI&E cannot be provided, this may have consequences for the financial settlement of damage claims.

Regulations for (foreign) cricket coaches and players

You can find more information about permits and the admission policy on the website of Werkgevers in de Sport (WOS).
